A most delightful half-day coastal walk in Wester Ross with superb scenery of the sea and cliffs, the chain of mountains lining the coast of Wester Ross and Sutherland, Coigach, Cul Beag, Cul Mor, Stac Polly, Suilven and Canisp; and the Outer Hebrides in the west. It is easy walking on narrow paths on deer-grass moor. There are no trees, just unobstructed views all the way. There is a lovely sandy beach at the car park; it's nearly white, due to the high proportion of crushed shells. This is an excellent family walk: half the day on the walk and the other half on the beach... marvellous!

There is a (basic) camping and caravan site a few metres from the beach; there is a better one at Laide, three miles away, where there is also a shop.

A first class walk with superb views through 360 degrees particularly from the summits of the two modest peaks however the weather was superb which was a bonus. The directions are all still correct.
