This circular walk starting in Melton passing through three villages is my favourite walk to date. There is so much variety along the route including a short stretch through a golf course, quiet country lanes, field paths, delightful, enclosed paths, a short stretch beside the River Deben and extensive stretches through woodland, makes this a perfect family walk. Even though this walk is mainly flat, you still get some amazing views, plus you pass some beautiful properties. Some of the paths through the woodland are not signposted but by taking note of the directional arrows on the waymark photos, you will be fine following the route.
All paths were clear (Aug 2022) apart from a short section through long grass on an enclosed track. For refreshments there is a cafe at the station and The White Lion Inn at the start of waymark 8.
