This picturesque walk starts in the quiet village of Tysoe by The Peacock pub. A short walk along the main street and past the church then follows field-paths with extensive wildflowers, before joining the Macmillan Way and climbing up the Cotswold escarpment. Then it follows farm tracks and field-paths, slowly descending a beautiful valley before a short climb up into Shenington. Stop at the The Bell Inn, an excellent and popular pub. Leaving Shenington, walk past the airfield, the secret location where Frank Whittle's first jet-powered plane was tested. You may now see gliders using the airfield. After passing through field-paths and a large wood, descend back into Tysoe.
