The outward route follows the route of the old Valley Line (long closed) out of Monmouth over the River Wye into England. Offa's Dyke Path leads you up the Kymin before the Wysis Way takes you over into the Forest of Dean and to the Near Hearkening Rock and the Suckstone. Leave the Wysis Way and continue enjoying the views before dropping down to follow the River Wye back to Monmouth. Leave time to explore this interesting old borough.
