Mont d'Evian - les Fours - Lacs de Damoz des Moulins - Brion - Mont d'Evian

A fairly low level circuit mostly through forest on tracks and mountain paths, reaching the lower of the Lacs de Damoz des Moulins. Fantastic views and idyllic alpine pastures, with glorious flowers in Spring.

The first section is along a forest track to the settlement at les Fours. Then there is a fairly steep climb through the forest to the few barns at Damoz des Moulins and another short climb to the lake. Rest for a while before a short haul to the Col de Creve-Coeur.

A short traverse with fantastic views across the D'Aulps valley with the Roc D'Enfer dominant, to come to the small settlement at Brion. Then it's downhill all the way on tracks and a small mountain path back to Mont d'Evian.

Note: there are some sections where the path is narrow and fairly poorly maintained, especially on the last leg back to Mont d'Evian.
