If holidaying in Nairn you would enjoy this short morning or afternoon walk. From the Kingsteps car park on the outskirts of Nairn the route follows the old shoreline for 2km, goes inland into Culbin Forest and returns by a delightful path twisting and turning through old sand-dunes now 'fixed' by Scots pines. A nice family walk (dog too); paths are good and no special footwear is needed. There are no problems on the walk. If you wish to extend it a further 2km, start in Nairn at the East Beach caravan site (NH 893574), follow the beach path to Kingsteps and join the walk there. If you want to make a day of it, join this route to Walk 3395 (The Old Bar). There are lots of seabirds to be seen.
