Newquay - Crantock - River Gannel Circular

From the park and boating lake our way takes us across the River Gannel before following the coastal path across wide open farming countryside. Later we turn westwards to continue across country to the charming village of Crantock with its two pubs and beautiful church. It is only a short distance to Crantock beach and from here our route will be dictated by the state of the tide (see additional information). We will either be able to walk beside the river and cross at the tidal crossing to follow the coastal path on the north side of the river or follow the coastal path to Penpol Creek and then make our way back via our outward route.
