This easy walk starts from Nine Mile Burn and crosses open moorland to the top of West Kip, with superb views of the surrounding countryside. The return to Nine Mile Burn is by a different route.

An enjoyable walk, although for someone in his upper 60's a bit more than an easy rating!! Getting up West Kip was something of a challenge. The directions are clear, and easy to follow - there are signposts and the paths are fairly well worn. The views are spectacular and well worth the effort. Care needs to be taken of sheep if you have a dog with you, but it didn't present us with much difficulty. About 3 hours seems right.
