North Highland Way: Dwarwick Pier to Thurso

This is a linear walk following a section of the North Highland Way, mainly along the coast.
Before leaving the pier try to visit Mary Anne's Cottage to see how people lived! There is a lovely three-mile walk along Dunnet Beach and also Castlehill Heritage Centre on the route. The rest of the walk to Thurso follows the coast, so wildlife can be seen.
