Starting from the picturesque village of Northend, then on to the wonderful Burton Dassett Hills before visiting the attractive village of Gaydon, this walk incorporates footpaths and roads. The magnificent Warwickshire countryside, often with stunning views, is present throughout, dotted with interesting farm buildings that help make up the alluring picture. The beautiful Dassett Hills are an absolute delight, where locals take their children for a Sunday afternoon kite-flying session, followed by a picnic. The beacon sits like a pork pie high on one of the hills and is a landmark for miles around. This is a very pleasant saunter, with much to satisfy the country-lover.

This walk won't be to everyone's liking. The Dassett Hills are pleasant but not extensive while most of the rest of the walk is along roads, including a busy B road.
