This coastal walk mainly follows the first stage of the Northumberland Coast Path, which is one of the North Sea Trails. Along the way are plenty of things to do and see including a marina, harbour and pier at Amble, where you can get lovely fish and chips. Further on from that is the nature reserve where keen bird-spotters can see some rare species. Following the coastline through sand-dunes and along paths, this walk is mainly flat and has great views out to sea. There are the visitor centre and lovely lake at the Druridge Country Park, where you could have a picnic or just relax. The walk finishes with a stroll up the bay of Druridge along the beach, where you will encounter old relics of World War 2 in the form of concrete bunkers and blockades, showing through the sand next to the towering sand-dunes.
