The former lighthouse overlooking The Wash is the starting point for this enjoyable walk. Initially the North Norfolk Coast Path is followed through dunes and alongside the golf course, before turning inland to take quiet lanes down to Ringstead. A long, delightful section then takes us across Ringstead Downs and a dry, surprisingly defined river valley to Hunstanton Park. Six days a week the park is closed, but if it's Thursday, the route passes the Old Hall on the return to the starting point.
