This is a short walk starting from the small village of Oldbury-on-Severn. A part of the walk takes you along the shore of the mouth of the River Severn. It is fairly flat, but towards the end of the walk there is a high point where you can see almost the whole scope of the walk. There are views of the 'old' Severn Bridge.

To visit the Severn Bridge please see Walk 4088.

Nice walk which we did today beginning of September. At 2 the Severn Way sign has been replaced. Between 8 and 9 corn has been planted so close to the path that you are constantly brushing against it. Makes this part of the walk a bit unpleasant.

At 2 the sign to the 'Severn Way' is now missing.Look for the sign 'Ginger Bread House' and use the pedestrian gate to the left of the main gates. At 4 after entering the field proceed forward to the second field, the farmer seems to be re-arranging things. At the end of this field the stile is slightly right of the middle gate you will see.
