Lovely walk on a dry March day. Would have liked more towpath walking (as very pretty) but overall varied and interesting. Point 9 is now part of a Premier Inn but clear way markers and gates to point 10. Also Point 31 no longer a hotel (now housing) and again there is clear pedestrian access to pick up the path at point 32.

I did this walk on Thursday 28/03/2013, a lovely but chilly day with snow still lying. The walk was excellent, instructions really precise. The hotel drive at point 31 is still closed, Gary Beers instructions are accurate, thanks Gary. There are some very muddy patches, so be prepared it may be worse after the snow disappears.

Although never far from traffic noise this is a very pleasant walk. The instructions are excellent and there are plenty of waymarks On the day I walked (2/9/12) the hotel drive at waypoint 31 was blocked as they are closed for refurbishment. An easy diversion is to turn left along the road for about 100m to the bend and then turn nearly back on yourself onto the waymarked path. This path leads to waypoint 32 in about 150m.
