This walk starts in an oak-wood and rises to a viewpoint overlooking an impressive waterfall. It then continues to rise and after leaving the wood, passes along the side of fields to reach Edradour Distillery. This is the smallest distillery in Scotland and is open most of the year to visitors.

On leaving the distillery the walk returns via a path between fields, before branching out northwards. It passes through open fields near the ruins of The Black Castle, on the way to Moulin. Next it continues through the streets of Pitlochry, passing a small wildlife garden and another distillery before returning to the start.

The person needs to add more points on their GPS in order to make the route follow the paths more closely, the overlaid route is way off.

The growing season the patharound Edradour can get very overgrown with hedge parsley and nettles etc. Shorts are not advised.

The is an instruction missing between 12 and 13, which should say to turn left at the T junction and go in the Pitlochry direction. This is well before the woods pictured in the photo which goes along with the 13 instruction. Lovely walk though.
