Port Isaac is a small village on the Cornish Coast and the backdrop for the television show Doc Martin. This is a short walk that takes you along the parts of the Coastal path and explores the beautiful countryside west of the village.

The route starts by following a popular route along the coast down into the tight narrow streets of the port. With its numerous small character filled shops and cafes the route through is a total joy to walk and detours are recommended!

The route then follows public footpaths across open fields and down into a small valley and round to the coast. The coastal path is now followed for the remainder of the walk as it follows the edge of a small peninsula back round to Port Isaac.

Could be a lovely walk from a lovely village. The directions given we found only to be 4K which was a bit short. You could easily extend this by 1-2k by not turning right in the valley but doing the climb ahead then right and back down the steps that appear obvious. The route given is having work done to re route which will hopefully be completed soon.
