Revack Lodge is near Grantown-on-Spey. It offers several short walks of about a mile; this circular walk is the longest offered. The walks are well-marked, with a colour code, this one being the 'Orange' route. Paths are good so footwear is not critical, but boots or stout shoes are recommended for this walk. In general it follows the outer edge of woods which cover a large part of the estate, so views are frequently present, over Strathspey, to the Northern Cairngorms and to the Dava Moor. On the walk the wildlife may be enjoyed: hares, red squirrels, roe deer, pine martens, crossbills, capercaillie... The walk is an enjoyable family walk (no dogs, but there is a short dog-walk available). Other attractions on site are restaurant, giftshoop, adventure playground and garden centres.

During the early 19th Century, logs from the woodlands here were floated down the River Spey to Garmouth at the coast for boatbuilding, including clippers (see Walk 3180).

Wildlife includes hares, red squirrels, roe deer, pine martens, crossbills and capercaillie.

Refreshments and toilets are available at the estate restaurant at the car park, where there is also an adventure playground, plant and garden centres and a giftshop.
