This is a fine little walk to occupy half a day or to make the most of poor weather. It goes straight into the fields to the north of the village before picking up a farm track. The walk then passes the old house of Cherry Yate and comes through a farm to join a track that has on it three of the notable buildings of the district: Stydd Chapel, the Almshouses and the old RC Church next to them, built as a barn to conceal its presence when Catholics were persecuted. Towards the end it passes the Roman Bathhouse, so there is plenty of interest in a short distance.
