Robertbridge is a smashing small town or village. It has: a station, a proper high street, an inn serving local food and a bakery where you can sit and enjoy a coffee along with their excellent cakes. After half an hour there you may feel you don't actually need to do this walk. But that would be a shame as the countryside of the High Weald matches the town for amiability. It's really a gentle stroll but the abundant stiles, some a bit difficult, persuaded me to catagorise it as a moderate walk.
