Robinswood Country Park is set in 250 acres on a hill towering 198 metres over the City of Gloucester. The walk visits all the main attractions within the park, including the rare breeds farm, which is completely free of charge to enter, the golf course which straggles the southern slopes of the hill and the dry ski slope.

Although this is quite a short walk, there is inevitably a large height gain, as the walk climbs to the top of the hill, descends back the other side and skirts its way around the bottom to the dry ski slope before climbing back to the top again. But you are rewarded with some fantastic views over the city and surrounding countryside.

Really enjoyable walk, good, safe carparking with great mobile tea waggon too! The Farm park is no longer in operation, but it didn't matter as you are heading for the Beacon, so any "up" route will do, and it was easy to pick up the route from there. Amazing views.
