After a diversion down into the small and quiet Bossiney Cove where swimming is possible, although the sand is covered at high tide, the walk then takes you along a beautiful stretch of Cornish coast before descending into a fascinating valley, where the stream dances down waterfalls and around swirl-holes. The rocky valley follows a stream to ruins of an old mill and interesting rock carvings of 'wall mazes', reputed to date from the early Bronze Age, about 1800 BC. The walk then continues to the road and back to your car. The nearby villages of Tintagel and Boscastle are well worth visiting; both have pleasant walks around the areas.

WOW - what a walk! Stunning coastal views before descending into a magical valley where water dances over rocks before gathering to descend small but beautiful waterfalls. We were lucky enough to have sun, which further enhanced the beauty of the stream. This may be a short walk but it's well worth doing. Dogs need close control at the beginning, but it is a dog friendly walk. There is a cafe opposite the car park though note this is closed on Wednesdays.
