This short walk has the most amazing views of the whimsical rocks near the parador. Although easy, it does have a short but very steep ascent at the very end. To do it in reverse is very vertiginous. If you have a car you can split and the fitter does the ascent while the other walks across the plains to the 49km marker on the Teide road to be picked up.
