The ruins of St Andrew's Church in Roudham are absolutely stunning and worth a visit in their own right. It was built in the 14th Century but during repair works in 1736 the roof caught fire and the church was abandoned, as it remains today. The route, although only short, visits this beautiful ruin and also the nearby manor-house, but that is towards the end of the walk.
The route goes south almost as far as Bridgham and takes a bridleway east and then north, heading for Roudham Hall. Roudham Hall is a mid-18th century manor built on the site of an older manor-house.
