A lovely walk along easily navigated woodland tracks and mountain paths, starting from either Glenmore Lodge or the lochside of Loch Morlich and climbing past a well-maintained bothy to the summit of Meall a Buachaille, a Corbett with fantastic views over the Cairngorms.

Although not a long walk, Scottish mountains remain wild places and you should be prepared for changes of weather and in winter be suitably equipped for winter mountaineering.
