We begin by heading west from San Rafael before turning south through beautiful unspoilt countryside, much of it forested, to reach the Benimussa Valley. From here we will follow a picturesque old camino that will bring us to the Cas Corb. Crossing the main Eivessa to San Antonio road, we have the chance to call in at the supermarket self-service restaurant for a meal or welcome break before we continue across country to skirt below the emblematic settlement of Monte Cristo (see additional information). We make our way back northwards along the old camino that used to link San Rafael and Eivessa, pass close to the world-famous Privilege discotheque and finish by passing San Rafael's wonderful old church.

4/4/2018 - Jim Arymar

Walked this one 4 April 2018. Sadly the local authorities have completely obliterated the wonderful unofficial stone garden and the Restaurant on the other side of the pedestrian bridge has closed. However, there is an excellent self service restaurant at the nearby supermarket. Other than that, the walk remains a beauty and there are no changes. Jim Arymar.
