This is a very pleasant walk along flat easy paths, with no stiles. The route is along tracks, through woodland and heathland and along a country lane that takes you through the rural village of Santon Downham.
You can link this walk up with ID 1101 Santon Downham (11.0km). At map reference 820880 on this walk turn right (Waymark 2*), then take up the 1101 walk at map reference 825887 Harling Drove. This takes you to Brandon and back via the river path. Continue on this walk with map reference 817878 at the river-bridge.
