Seven Springs - Coberley - Cowley - Cockleford - Upper Coberley Circular

This walk begins at the source of the River Churn, a tributary of the Thames, then follows its course for the first couple of miles using field-paths and quiet country lanes. We visit the picturesque Cotswold villages of Coberley (once the home of Dick Whittington), Cowley and Cockleford, which lie close to the river. For the return leg, we take a high-level farm track with delightful open views over the Churn Valley and pass close to the site of the medieval village of Upper Coberley.

We started this walk at the Green Dragon, lovely pub but popular so probably best to book. The walk was interesting and well described so very enjoyable.
