Shepton Mallet - St Adhelm's Well - Doulting - Deanstreet Farm - East Mendip Way - Kilver Court - Shepton Mallet
Shepton Mallet is one of those places which has a great name, but when you pass through it seems to have no redeeming features. Well, it does have a couple, at least. Kilver Court is a garden which I think belonged to Mr Babycham. And parts of the old town really look quite interesting. (Well, old; I like old).
The walk gives you the opportunity to visit Kilver Court at start or end, but in itself makes its way out over fields, bypassing an old well, to a far point before a not too strenuous climb to the East Mendip Way. This takes you back, giving some expansive views on the return journey.
