If you can get down to the forest trails early and catch the morning mist, you will be rewarded with an abundance of wildlife that is normally hiding away when the mass of people start to turn up. Suddenly a deer will appear on the track in front of you, or the incredible bird sounds will make you wish you knew which bird is which. This basically is a set of different trails that many think are hard to follow and end up getting lost, either on foot or cycle. We use this walk just to get out there early and walk at pace to start the day off in no better way.

There is a café at the start or end, whichever you prefer. Toilets are available as well. My photos do not do justice as it was during winter and they were cutting some trees down with heavy plant around. Normally you have the paths available without any traffic apart from cycles. If you wish to walk with stunning views then this is not for you, but if you like forest and wildlife then give it a try.
