A truly wonderful little walk starting at the Shillingford Bridge Hotel to visit Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, a charming village with the appeal of old and beautiful buildings and a sense of history and continuity. The route takes fine old bridleways, one a Roman road, footpaths and tracks through splendid countryside and is altogether a most enjoyable experience.
