An isolated country walk with magnificent views of the coastline and distant countryside; a circular walk, well away from civilisation and roads.
This walk will take you far into isolated Old English countryside far from roads and crowds. Starting from the local village pub, you walk isolated paths along downland ridges, at one point passing close to one of the island's huge TV transmitter masts.
You will experience some wonderful views across the English Channel and surrounding countryside. On returning to Shorwell you will pass the historic old village church, which you may want to visit before completing your walk back to the village pub for perhaps a drink and well-earnt meal.
