Sengjaberget is a viewpoint behind Skjolden with outstanding views over the fjord and surrounding valleys and mountains. The name translates to 'bed rock' from the bed- or bench-like shape of the rocks on which you can sit to drink in the view.
It is a short uphill walk, not at all challenging and well worth it for the panoramic views. From the viewpoint a pleasant stroll along quiet lanes leads back to the village by a different route beside a river with outstanding views down the fjord.
