The Sma' Glen is surounded by towering mountains of The Scurran and Du'n Mo'r. General Wade's Military Road to Amulree provides easy access to view the hills of the Sma' Glen. This grass path takes you over the ridge and down to the Fulford Hotel. From here the route meanders up over the moor to Loch Meallbroden, a great place for a lunch stop. This is deer country, so keep an eye open and try to spot them. As you crest the top of the hill, visit the standing stone and the stone circle. Take advantage of this high open location to admire the distant hills. The route then goes through the forest past Murry's Hill and along a muddy trail to finish at a parking area on a minor road.
