A great little walk around Snowshill, a Cotswold jewel of a village where there is a Tudor manor-house, a National Trust property. Glorious views over the lovely valley, thickly fringed with woodland expanses and of rich farmland stretching away in the far distance, are much in evidence from the onset. Quiet woodland paths and tracks out in the open bring revelations of timeless surrounds and establishment and the Cotswold stone habitations that nestle on the slopes are a perfect blend with nature. Snowshill Manor houses a unique collection of an eccentric, Charles Paget Wade; items of craftsmanship and design that bring past ingenuity back to the present. A must for the visitor to this area of outstanding beauty.

As the description says this is a lovely little walk with some great views. Good pub in Snowshill as well, good beer and dog friendly. WP4 - yesterday this was a complete mud bath, slipping and sliding as you cross the steam and try to climb up through the trees. It was so bad I would recommend wellies rather than boots. WP6 to WP7 - very little detail between these points, misses out a junction where you meet a tarmac road, the Cotswold Way goes right but turn left on the road and walk down to Littleworth Wood. Unfortunately the GPX file I downloaded also missed out the route between these 2 points. No problems for the dog but many of the fields may have sheep in so you have to be careful. Apart from WP4 very enjoyable. Bryan & Angela

An excellent shortish walk we thoroughly enjoyed. Well written and easy to follow. Thanks Ron and Jenny
