A wonderful little walk in the Swere Valley, starting from South Newington and visiting Wigginton, both extremely pretty Oxfordshire villages. Superb views over stunning countryside is a constant feature, with the charm and interest of two beautiful villages and their most attractive churches and houses of the local stone.

This has changed considerably as follows: Point 2/3 - Delete 'Head now for the far right corner (the gap has been replaced by s fixed hurdle and the gate along the hedge is padlocked) instead - Bear L to go through a gate in the LH hedge to see wooden stables on your right. Go ahead to a metal kissing gate and turn left along track to reach Paradise Farm, where horses are bred. Pass the back of two large barns. Point 4 - Where the track bears L turn R into yard to find kissing gate in far corner near a green oil tank. Cross field keeping hedge on your R with a fenced circle of tree elevated to your L. Walk downhill to metal kissing gate (delete climb stile)... Point 7 - ...pass a row of willows to a metal kissing gate...... Carry on (delete 'over another stile) through metal kissing gate...... Points 7 & 8 are fine Derek & Sue Weston
