This peaceful circular walk starts at South Woodham Ferrers Station in Essex. It is mainly a field-based walk but there are certain points where there are extensive views to the River Crouch. On certain days you can visit the Stow Maries Aerodrome Museum (Waymark 14) and also a real ale pub at Waymark 20.
At Waymark 13 the farmer has put up a sign stating that the drive is private, find alternative route; please ignore this as it is a public right of way. It is also the access drive to the aerodrome.
At Waymarks 5, 6 and 7 the farmer hasn't maintained the paths so you can either follow the field edges to the next waymark or follow the correct line across the fields. (See waymark photos for the correct direction).
