Beginning outside the Tate Gallery on the coast at the west of the town, we begin by following the coastal way. Soon we join the coastal path proper and enjoy a stretch of amazing clifftop scenery. Reaching our turn-off point we head inland a little before picking up the footpath passing Trevega that will bring us back to the outskirts of St Ives. Now we have only a short stretch a steep downhill town-walking to bring us back to the start.

This is a lovely walk - lots of rocky paths and some steep climbs but worth it for the views of the coast line. When we went it was extremely muddy and slippery in some places and as the instructions say - there are loads of stone stiles - some of them quite tricky. We'd do this walk again but on a dryer day!
