The coast of the Isles of Scilly is justly famous for its walks but the interior is rich with flowers and the roads are a joy to walk along. At least they were in late April, with the spring hedgerow flowers, much bird activity and minimal traffic. Therefore I have fashioned my IoS walks to include some interesting inland features as well as the coast. As regards walking along the coastal path, I do not intend to insult the reader by recounting every little twist and turn - just follow the sea as close as you wish.

This walk includes the Lower Moors Nature Trail, a peaty environment with pools and bird hides maintained by the very active IoS Wildlife Trust.
