This is a figure-of-eight walk with the fulcrum at Old Town. It can easily be divided into two separate walks if preferred.

To my surprise this turned out to be my favourite walk that I did on these islands. I am not sure why, perhaps because the Airport, Salakee Down and the Garrison are such an incongruous and unobvious mix. Certainly there is plenty to see and some wonderful and varied views. Not to mention the ridiculously exciting chance to stand nearly underneath the aircraft as they land. The Garrison is a blob of a peninsula giving rise to navigational headaches: which way round do you go? How much of the interior to see? Therefore I suggest you decide what to do here. For the record I have recorded my own movements, which I found satisfactory.
