This stunning circular walk starting in the village of Stoke by Nayland is personally one of my favourites. 80% of this walk has stunning views all round combined with some beautiful thatched cottages. There are quite a few steep climbs along the route but well worth it for the views all round. This walk is mainly through the beautiful undulating fields with just a couple of quiet lanes. You walk along a section of the Stour Valley Path and St Edmund Way and also through a small section of a golf course. Near the end refreshments are available at The Crown pub in Stoke by Nayland (waymark 33).
There is one section that is slightly overgrown between waymarks 30 and 31.The field edge beside the barbed-wire fence is overgrown but there is a path just to the right of it through the crops which joins back up with the original path. (June 2022).
