This is a very enjoyable walk whatever time of year, on easy paths and with no stiles. The route is firstly along the long Pingo Nature Trail, then partly along Peddars Way long-distance path. The walk is mostly on tracks, with a short part along country lanes through the old village of Thompson, where you can stop to rest at the old thatched Chequers Inn, which serves excellent food and real ales. (See history below of the Pingo Trail and other Interest Points).

Found this one a little creepy and wished I had a dog or friend with me. Cold wet February possibly the wrong time of year.
