Starting at the beautiful church in the picturesque village of Stratton Audley, the first part of the walk is on the Cross Bucks Way. The countryside is pleasant and green with miles of farmland, both agricultural and pastural. Gentle hills roll away in the distance, but the walk itself poses no great ascents. The magnificent Poundon House is the first sight of the little village, and the Sow and Pigs pub is the last. Godington is skirted but could easily be included given a little extra walking; the rest of the way is on field-paths interspersed with new tree plantations and woodland.

We really enjoyed this walk, we were in the area with friends for a couple of days. The official waymarking signs seemed hit & miss in a couple of places but we found navigation okay. We skipped the part between points 10 - 14 (sore toe trouble). Could score a rating of 4 but for the signage and the fact that we cut it short.
