Sulhamstead - Aldermaston Wharf - Padworth Mill - Ufton Green - Sulhamstead
This is a straightforward and level walk suitable for a family or those who do not want something too strenuous. There is even the option of a pub or tea room visit halfway round!
The walk starts in a car park next to the canal and the first part of the walk involves tracking the canal as it wends its way to Aldermaston. Here you have the option of a cafe or a local pub.
The walk then heads down Mill Lane past the old mill before returning through the fields to Ufton Green, where there is a park bench for a further rest. The last stretch takes the walker through further fields before reaching Sulhampstead Lane. A short stretch of safe countryside walking follows to return to the start of the walk.
