This is a triangular walk that starts in Clock Face Country Park, the site of a former colliery, from which footpaths lead south across the M62 to the village of Bold Heath. The route is then almost immediately north to a cunning underpass beneath the motorway giving access to the larger Sutton Manor Colliery site, now also a Country Park. A gradual ascent to its summit brings you to the white, 60m-high sculpture, The Dream, as stunning close up as it is from a distance. Easy paths through the park complete the triangle.

Too many dogs on this route. Faeces everywhere. Not a pleasant experience.
