Sychbant is a nature reserve and there are leaflets available on site listing the species that may be found. There are picnic tables and toilets as well as interesting pools and streams. For the more adventurous, this walk leads you up onto the 'tops'. Returning down again the route takes you through The Gardens, a family-run farm with gardens and tea rooms.
