A lovely country walk from Tackley, circling a particularly beautiful area surrounding this picturesque village. On footpaths and bridleways and country lanes, woodland is a predominant feature, either in the distance or on the actual route, the magical atmosphere reminiscent of fairy stories, the eerie stillness, a source of peace and quietness. Mature trees spread their branches to give shelter or shade on much of this walk, which is a delight from beginning to end. The charming starting and finishing point of Tackley Village Green is a
perfect setting, with large houses and small cottages of local stone
scattered round it, making an appealing picture-book scene.

Lovely Sunday afternoon walk. Parking on The Green was easy, the directions were clear and helpful. we took the dogs and they really enjoyed the terrain and didn't have to do too much on lead as there were no livestock on the route
