There are outstanding views of Snowdonia throughout this section of the Clwydian Way, which crosses the highest parts of the Clwydian Range. After a drop to the Wheeler Gap at Bodfari it rises to a bridleway, which contours above the Vale of Clwyd before climbing to Moel Famau and dropping again to Cilcain with its inn.
