This is Stage Five of the Clwydian Way, which winds its way around the county. It is not signposted as such, which is a pity, especially as waymarking is sparse in some parts. This section though, is relatively easy to follow and is well-signed in most parts. The first part of the walk described is level, along the towpath; and the one long climb is followed by a contouring path before a steep drop back into the Dee Valley. This walk follows directly onto Walk Number 1262 and I propose adding further sections.

This was a brilliant walk. The step by step guide was idiot proof! We didn't get lost once! Thank you.
