After passing the Brenig Visitor Centre, Stage 7 of the Clwydian Way moves from its most westerly point and begins the traverse back to the Vale of Clwyd. It makes almost a complete circle of the lake before going through forestry plantations and making its way to the little valley which holds the Afon Concwest and down to the village of Cyffylliog.
