The Doach Wood Circuit

This easy route combines a couple of trails around Doach Wood and includes a short ascent to a lofty viewpoint ideal for picnics. The wood is managed by Forestry Commission Scotland and is largely coniferous, but the walk would seem ideal for dog-walkers – not that I saw any - or as a pipe-opener or leg-stretcher for holiday-makers before they tackle more challenging routes in this most scenic of regions.
